Thailand is an exciting country with some truly amazing courses, friendly locals and some wonderful beaches - the perfect holiday combination. Thailand is blessed with natural beauty and its islands are amongst the most scenic and beautiful in the world, likewise the beaches are stunning with clear waters and white sandy beaches. The cities are lively and cosmopolitan with great shopping, entertainment and nightlife. Golf in Thailand has some of the best courses in Asia, they are maintained to very high standards and have memorable signature holes making it a fantastic golfing experience.

Our Hotel; the luxurious Royal Cliff Beach Hotel is situated overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Thailand and is part of a large resort with many restaurants onsite. Alternatively a short transfer down into the lively and vibrant Pattaya itself. Full of great shopping bars and evening entertainments.

Golf; We have chosen to play some truly magnificent courses, Burapha, Phoenix, Khao Kheow, Greenwood, Siam Country Club and the jewel in the crown the Jack Nicklause designed Laem Chabang. During the tour we will be playing two team events plus our individual Stableford over three rounds. With our points scoring system for the prizes. So even if you are not fairing so well in the individual you will still have the team event to look forward to. Included in the cost of your holiday, hotel, transfers, 6 round competition, golf as per itinerary, caddie fees and optional coaching with Gary on the golf days.

Thailand 2008 Itinerary

5th November.

Depart Heathrow for a direct flight to Bangkok

6th November.

Arrive Bangkok and transfer to the luxurious Royal Cliff Beach Resort and Spa.
The Resort is situated between Jomtien and Pattaya in a 64 acre lush tropical private estate overlooking the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Siam. This award winning resort offers a choice of 5 star hotels we have chosen the Royal Cliffs for its charm and ambiance.



Step into the Royal Cliff Beach Resort and enter a haven of elegant charm, far away from the rigours of the everyday world. Although if vibrancy and nightlife is your
desire it is only a short transfer down into the town of Pattaya itself.
There is a wide variety of restaurants within the resort including Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Italian and European Cuisine certainly something for everyone.

7th November

Day at leisure. Time to relax after your journey either on the beach, time at the fabulous spa or one of the five swimming pools.

8th November.

Golf at Burapha. A very impressive complex of 36 holes, each course providing a unique challenge.

The East course has wider fairways while the west course has larger bunkers but at 6024yds and 5338yds for men and ladies respectively it is a lovely introduction for round one of the golf event.

9th November.

Golf at Phoenix. Dennis Griffiths design of the 27 hole Phoenix Golf Course has matured into one of Pattaya most popular courses and is within twenty minutes of our resort.

The rough is forgiving and the fairways wide, yet there is a range of water hazards to keep everyone on their toes. The greens a large and often fast and reading them can be a challenge.

10th November.

Day at leisure relax or maybe time to explore the bussling town of Pattaya.

11th November.

Golf at Khao Khew. Superbly set amidst low surrounding hills and close to Khao Kheow Zoo this cleverly designed 27 hole course deigned by the legendary Pete Dye offers an exciting challenge of golf that will prove challenging to golfers of all abilities.


12th November.

Golf at Greenwood. The Greenwood Golf and Resort makes heavy use of flowering fauna and extensive landscaping. Designed by five times British Open Champion Peter Thompson and Michael Wolverine the course has been described as thinking mans layout in the British Style, with many unique features.

13th November.

Day at Leisure. If you are not doing the optional tag on maybe a day spent in the Capital City Bangkok where antiquities temples and shopping can be found in abundance.

14th November.

Golf at Laem Chabang. This has to be the jewel in the crown and a fitting end to our golfing event.

A spectacular 27 hole world class championship course designed by the one and only Jack Nicklause. Set in a valley surrounded by rolling hills and craggy peaks, brilliantly designed with plenty of bunkers and water hazards. If you have never played a Nicklaus layout they are a must always challenging always fun.

15th November.

Golf at Siam Country Club. The golf course and clubhouse have been completely renovated and officially open again on 14 May 2007. The renovation of the golf course had kept the same layout but completely rebuild the rest of the golf course from tee to green with a wall to wall cart path. The renovation works bring Siam Country Club to a truly international championship standard and one of Thailand’s best.

16th November.

Transfer back to Bangkok for our return flight home, and say goodbye to the climate and wonderful people of Thailand.

Bangkok. Stay three nights at the Sofitel Silom in a Deluxe Room. This hotel is ideally located to enjoy the Capital of Thailand. With many historic sites to see. The many temples, Grand Palace, the Giant Reclining Buddha and the golden Buddha. A long boat ride through the canal system is also great fun and a chance to see up close how the locals spend their days. It will be possible to organize a guided tour for you during your
